Setting up your company's iPhones properly the first time enables your employees to get to work with a device that functions as it should. Apple outfits the iPhone with a Setup Assistant that guides you through the process of connecting to a wireless network, activating cellular service with your wireless provider, creating or connecting to an existing Apple ID and importing data and other information from your computer or existing iTunes and iCloud accounts
1. Insert the SIM card, if necessary. Not all mobile providers require you to use a SIM card. If yours does, press the end of a paper clip or SIM eject device into the SIM card hole on the side of the iPhone to eject the SIM card tray. Pull the tray out, insert the SIM card, and then replace the tray.
2. Turn on the device and slide your finger on the screen to initiate the Setup Assistant. Select your desired language, and then tap "Next."
3. Tap a local Wi-Fi network on the list of available networks, enter the network's password, if prompted, and then tap "Next."
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to setup locational services and to activate the phone with your wireless provider. You may be prompted to enter account-specific data, so be sure to have your contract handy.
5. Review the on-screen software license, and then tap "Agree."
6. Follow the prompts to load any existing data, media, contacts and other files via iTunes or iCloud. If you elect to load existing data, you will be prompted to enter you Apple ID and password. If you do not have data you want to import, the iPhone will prompt you to create a new Apple ID and password that will then be associated with the device.
